So I received a news letter via email offer to upgrade sky sports to uhd for £3.50 per month for 24 months cool i thought ill take that spoke to someone via online chat all sorted I thought check email today and my updated contract being charged £7 I no it's not a lot of money but so annoying!!

We're sorry to hear you've been charged more than what was expected. After you've made changes to your account, your first bill after the change will likely be a bit higher. This is because we charge in advance for the services. You would have been charged for the time the service went live, plus your usual month in advance.
Your bill will show the dates you're charged from via My VM here.
Future bills should match the monthly price that was laid out in your pre-contract documents, which would have been sent at the time of the change.

Morning I have checked on my virgin media app and under my current package it is showing that I have sky sports UHD add on at £7 per month not the £3.50 that was advertised when I took up the offer that runs until the end of August!!
Always best to take screen shots of any offer Virgin make. They have a habit of charging full price or simply deciding the "add-on" is part of the package and hiking the price up on a new lpackage.
