Updated Direct Debit & Account Holder Name has changed!!!

I updated my Direct Debit details which will now be taken from my wife's bank account. I clearly inputted these details and now Virgin have updated the bank account with my name and not my wife's! This is incredibly frustrating as I did all the work yet Virgin choose to change it. Please help.

    Thanks for taking the time to post in regards to the changes to your bank account following updating some details with ourselves. If you change the account a Direct Debit is requested from we only contact the bank in question to ask them to set up the Direct Debit.

     

    We don't have any access to their systems to make any changes to the name on the actual bank account, you would need to speak to the bank if any changes have been made.

      No no, my wife's bank account is under my wife's name. I input all of that correctly when I updated the Direct Debit. My wife's name has NOW been changed to my name which is incorrect. Do you understand? Please drop me a private message to get this cleared up as this is very frustrating.

        So to confirm sorry you need to change the direct debit details again? 

        How did you update these in the first place?
