Unable to update phone number for marketing preferences

I have tried to update the contact number for marketing preferences in My Virgin Media. It has an old phone number. I’m waiting for a call from outbound retentions so it’s important that the number is right. My latest mobile number is on the account. Could anyone help please and make sure I’m opted into marketing and that my latest mobile number is the contact number thanks. I don’t know what option to use on the phone.

    Often it can be a case of the account showing the old number, but our systems still having the new one but we can clarify this either way for you.
