Marketing Preferences

I’ve recently cancelled my Virgin Media subscription as the cost was going to rise significantly. I’ve just checked my marketing preferences to see if they were enabled in case retentions tried to contact me. 

To make sure the preferences were as I wanted them I decided to select the options again, which were to be contacted by email, text message, phone or post. I also selected sounds good. Keep me up to date green tick option in my account. 

Despite selecting this I got the message you have opted out - which is the opposite to what I want.

I’ve tried several times to alter this but keep getting the same result. Can anyone from the VM team check my account please & let me know what is happening.

    Sorry to hear of your concerns with changing your Marketing Preferences. 

    We wouldn't be able to opt you into Marketing if you requested or have already disconnected. These particular marketing preferences would be for existing customer information, such as equipment upgrade, channel upgrades/offer and service/package offers. Marketing preferences changes can then take up to 40 days to take to fully take effect - whether that be opting in or opting out. 

     

    If you wish to keep up to date with any new deals we have should you wish to join us again in the future. These will be available on our website and social media pages.
