Unable to log in to My Virgin Media

I have tried to log in to My Virgin Media as an existing (customer) 5 minutes ago on my laptop but a screen now appears that requires me to sign in or register for Virgin Media O2. I have entered the email address that I was forced to use last time I had an issue with my router, not my usual virgin media email address which is no longer recognised by your system, but another that I had to create so virgin media could ensure it was me.

Now I am unable to access that secondary email address with the link that you have sent to that email address so that I can sign in or register for Virgin Media O2??????????????????????????????

What is going on and why can I no longer access My Virgin Media account as an existing customer?

    Sad to see your having problems with VM new system many months back I too changed my main VM log in to a 3rd party Email and all was fine.

    Then on Monday the login changed for both VM and O2 (which was on another Email) problem is I had no problems but one I used my 3rd party Email at VM login did the Email Verify dance and could see my account. The same could not be said about login in to O2 which I had to do Email Verify dance and phone code but the delay! After many tries I was locked out of my O2 for 24hr but today its all fine.

    Its unclear why VM are having so many people have problems with this new system? Maybe try your old Email on VM login?

    Can you explain what is stopping you from accessing the third party email account to get to the verification email?
