Unable to link Virgin Media account to VMO2
Hi. Like seemingly many others on here, I am unable to link my virgin media account, with it constantly coming up as:
We’ve found your Virgin Media account
However, this account is linked to an email address that’s different to the one on your Virgin Media O2 ID.
If you’d like to continue and link your Virgin Media account to your Virgin Media O2 ID, please confirm the full email address your Virgin Media account is currently registered to.
We’ll then send an email to that email address to approve the transfer.
I have been with Virgin Media previously, however only ever used one email address for my account with them, despite this it constantly says the account details I've given is linked to another email address. I have seen suggestions on here from some that you need to have be set up before you can link them (which contradicts the welcome email you get sent), but my hub is now set up and working and yet the issues linking the account continue. Please can somebody provide help to get this rectified so I can actually access my account?
