text message link doesn't exist

in the process of reviewing renewal, we have received a text with an offer but the link doesn't work, virginmedia.com/renewal  to get offer but that page it says doesn't exist. Plus need to do today to get offer , tricky when it sends you to none existent page

  • I've had at least 6 of these over the past few weeks, none of the links worked.

  • I guess this is the equivalent of virgin spam in order to get you to renew etc, its poor cause don't get this from any other web based support

      I finally got an offer where the link worked!  This was at the end of March - my contract ended in May. It was slightly cheaper so I accepted. Got a confirmation and a contract for 18 months. All good? No, they didn’t activate the contract!  Tried ‘talking’ to them on WhatsApp, pointless!  Called retentions this week and finally talked to a human. After much wrangling they agreed to honour what I believe is a legally binding contract. I spent hours trying to sort it and I’m still out of pocket as I paid the old higher rate in April and May. I’m retired and have the time to sort these things out. Can’t image how anybody working has time to deal with VM.
