Returning equipment i no longer have

My services disconnected on the 8th, i got an email on the 10th about returning my equipment, but by that time i already moved out that house and had no idea i needed to hold on to the router etc. Checked with new owners and they think they must have thrown it out. So am i still being charged for this?

    Thanks for reaching out to us, sorry to hear of the issues that you have faced with equipment returns. We do request that with any disconnection of services should we be prompted to request that equipment back we will advise you of this and can be chargeable to the customer as the equipment is assigned to them.
