Renewal Issue
My current contract is £38 per month and renewal order is £39.98 but I'm now getting a bill of £55 and soon over £70. Can you help please? before I cancel it all and move to SKY.

Some further info will assist anyone trying to help.
You currently pay £38.
Have you accepted a renewal offer of £39.98?
If not, once your £38 minimum term expires you might possibly get a billing period at the £38 rate and partly at the 'standard' rate for the package?
Is that where the £55 amount comes from before becoming £70 standard price?
Please explain a bit more.
VM forum people on here don't generally do package changes but they may offer to look into billing issues if you have already renewed and you think the renewal billing is not right for some reason.
This is the renewal I was offered:
£39.98
One off charges: £0.00
Upfront payment: £0.00
Price increases to £43.48 from your April 2026 bill
Price increases to £72.58 from your September 2026 bill
Price thereafter will increase annually from your April bill by £3.50 a month.
But this morning it shows a bill for April of £55 and the renewal fees are going up every time I refresh. It looks like robbery ..
How did you receive the renewal offer (an invite sent to you offering £39.98, phone call to/from VM etc.)?
Did you accept the offer (this usually involves VM sending you 'pre-contract' documents which you have to electronically agree to for the order to go through?
If you did accept the offer, how long ago was it that you did that? We see regular complaints on here that a customer accepts the offer but nothing happens (to which the usual VM reply is that it can take up to 14 days for the order to be processed).
Accepted offer yes 2 days ago. I have received documents.
How can I make sure they have processed correctly?
Wait for VM forum staff to answer/invite to private chat session with 48 hours. They can look at how the system got to those figures. It's likely to be billing periods.
Thank you. I'm keeping an eye for them.
We're happy to step in if you don't see any changes amberfrenchie.
