Registration

We’ve found your Virgin Media account

However, this account is linked to an email address that’s different to the one on your Virgin Media O2 ID.

If you’d like to continue and link your Virgin Media account to your Virgin Media O2 ID, please confirm the full email address your Virgin Media account is currently registered to.

We’ll then send an email to that email address to approve the transfer.

I keep getting this, but it's driving me to distraction. No helpline number available, and the chat doesn't want to talk. Perhaps the switch from Sky was not such a good idea!

  • Thanks for reaching out to our Community Forums RobinBstard, and a very warm welcome to you.

    We are aware of some customers being unable to initially register for their My Virgin Media account, and a work around to do is as follows;

     

    Go to Bing Search (yes, it has to be Bing) > Search for 'Virgin Media Register', and look for the first non sponsored result, that is titled 'Register My Virgin Media Account' > follow that link to guide you to the original Virgin Media Registration page > Setup your 'My Virgin Media' account > Once completed, go to the login which takes you back to the VM O2 linking > Re-attempt to set up/link again.

     

    Once completed, do then see if you can link the newly registered Virgin Media account to the O2 account of your choosing.
