Registering Virgin Media O2 ID issue

Hi,

 

I've tried signing into my VirginMedia/O2 account and after entering my email adress I was asked if it was correct. Verifying that resulted asking me to verify my email addres by using a link emailed to me. After doing that I was asked to set up my password. When I did, the pages refreshed and showed me the following message...

Looks like you’ve already started registering for a Virgin Media O2 ID.

Please go back to the original window or tab to continue registering there.

Not sure where you started? Close all your tabs and windows, then head to our sign in page and start again.

"

Closed all tabs and browser windows, but got the same behaviour. I also tried using a different browser but still the same.

I urgently need some help with this as i'm locked out of my account!

  • I’ve had exactly this problem for months ever since you linked up with 02 I cant log into either to pay my bills.

  • This seems to be one of my problems as well. None of the passwords I have noted work and I've recently found that the back up email address they send a link to when you say "Forgotten Password"  that was in place on my account, now has my name against it but a different domain entirely. It looks like I've been hacked but I cannot get to a place to reset my password, as cleverly I need to know my password to change it, but I don't know the password. Good eh? Hope someone can help me get to a resolution for this issue.
