Regarding Account Number
Hello. The complaint and query relates to the below:
The contract for the 18 months comes to an end on 28th February 2024. Been having quite a lot of problems with getting a better deal before the 18 month contract comes to an end. At the moment we pay £22 a month , the new quotes that the retentions tier 2 team have been giving us is £50 , £60 and that we must take up the broadband to carry on with the services or pay the £39 after the 18 months come to an end. This is just too much and we want to keep everything the same.
Please look into this and see if there is anything at your end that you can do to keep the price at £22 a month with everything the same without us having to call and give a 28 day cancellation to leave Virgin Media.
The team on the phone are forcing the customer to take broadband when this is not needed. The customer has dementia and of course they don't need the internet.
Elderly people do not need broadband and extra services.
