Account Number

How do I find my account number - I have never had a welcome pack or any paper / electronic bills, only a letter confirming direct debit set up and texts from installation engineers. There is nothing in my bank statement (inital payment taken) to help. I have broadband only (no 'phone).

    Hi Nigel_P, 

     

    Thanks for your post and welcome to the forums. It's great having you on board with us in the Community :) 

     

    Usually you would receive an email after ordering your services which should give you your account number. 

     

    We're not able to give this to you via the Community or over the phone. Instead I can send you a letter to the home address with the account number. You can then use this to register for My Virgin Media to be able to view your bills :) 

     

    Before I can do this, I will need to pass Data Protection. I have sent you a private message. Just click on the little plum envelope at the top right hand side of the page to access your inbox.

      Thanks - I rang the call centre, and once I got past the assumption that everyone has and account number (I entered 123...) I was e-mailed a bill which had all the necessary details on so I am now sorted.

      I have the exact same issue.
      No welcome pack and therefore no account number. All I have is the direct debit confirmation. Strange they are so quick to take your money....

    Could you please help me to find my Account Number as I don't remember all my security questions and need it to talk to Customer Service ... it would be very much appreciated

      I have the same problem, i joined virgin media a few days ago

      i phoned them today, they kept asking for a password which i have not got

      any help would be appreciated

    I have the same issue I pay by direct debit and have gone paperless so no account number so cannot sign up for my virgin to change internet and other settings

     

    how do I go about finding my account number??

      Apologies to hear that you haven't received your account number. 

      We're unable to give this out via the Forum or over the phone however we can arrange for a letter to be sent to the home address with it on :)

    I also have the same problem, no starter pack and on my bank statements there is nothing to give me my account number.

      Just had my broadband installed over thweekend.  Having some trouble finding my account number for my Virgin broadband service. I do not have a telephone line nor have I ever received a letter/welcome pack from Virgin Media. I have looked through my emails but I can’t find the confirmation of service email from Virgin Media. Please help ?

        I’ve tracked down my account number but when I try to set up a my virgin media account I get an error message saying we were not able to set up you’re account

      Would you be able to send me a private message with the following details Ryan:

       

      • Your postcode and house number
      • The full name on the account
      • Confirm if you are the account holder

      Hi knudson90, 

      Thanks for your post and apologies to hear you're having trouble. 

      We don't store card details so each time you want to make a payment you will need to provide the details. 

      If you mean you want to change your Direct Debit details then call the team on 150 / 0345 454 1111. You won't need anything other than your name and address for the team to locate your account :)

      It's great to hear you've joined us, I bet you're keen to get your online account set up. 

      Have you been able to get your account number since your post?

      Have your checked your junk or spam emails to see if you've received any details?

      If not let us know and we can sort this via a personal message.

    Morning, 

    Can someone please help me obtain my account number so I can set up and look at my Billing etc. I have never received a paper copy or a welcome pack to get this information. I have broadband and TV.

    Hi all,

    Same problem. I have got order confirmation email.

    In this email it says,

    Your Virgin Media Account Number: New

    How can I found my Account Number.
