Refund for installation fee of Tv360

Hi, 

I'm enquiring about a £40 refund that I was expecting from yourselves which I haven't received yet. Earlier this year I received an email from you ( sent to my Gmail address ) inviting myself to a free upgrade for the virgin tv 360 but I was charged £40 installation fee which was supposed to be free, when speaking to  customer service prior to agreeing to a new contract I was informed that this would be refunded, how do I go about getting a refund ?

    Do you have screenshots of the email where "no additional costs" was mentioned? Or at the very least, prior confirmation of whatever fee you were charged, not applying?

    One particular favourite from the distant past was "no activation fee" but an install fee instead. Or vice-versa.

  • Unfortunately not, it seems to have disappeared from my Gmail account, but when I called customer services I did inform them that I received the email stating free installation & they said that they would refund the money, surely they record these conversations?
