Pre-contract or Actual Contract??

Hi all,

My wife was online doing some price quotes on the VM site this morning and has somehow now received a pre-contract document email.

Is this an actual contract? Hope not as we still have an active account and we’re just looking at offers.

Contacted VM on the 0345 number and they can’t help as we have an active account in my name.

any ideas? Worried there is equipment possible being delivered.

    I think receiving the pre-contract docs is just a quote. I did the same again with my name and I noticed on the website you had to tick a few boxes, confirm details and place order - which I didn’t. I then received an email with pre-contract docs.

      We're sorry to hear there was some confusion caused. Whenever you do a quote, you will automatically receive some pre-contract documents. These are sent for you to look over and ensure you're happy with the services, price and terms before accepting. 

      Once you accept these, you'd then get an order confirmation and an updated contract. As it's just the pre-contract documents you've received, you can just delete these if you don't want to accept just yet.
