O2 volt package

Does anyone know what would happen if I was to cancel my O2 sim /volt package due to the increase in charges which are more than anticipated. I receive double broadband speeds due to taking on the sim only deal but would I lose them if I cancelled mid contract and go with a cheaper sim deal with another company? Every penny helps this weather with everything jumping up in price.
