Not receiving any Marketing emails

I just realised that I haven't received any marketing or news emails from VM for quite a few months. I don't know why these have stopped? The settings on My Account consents to marketing emails.

    Maybe there is nothing to market at the moment?

  • Well I used to receive weekly emails about upcoming sport, movies etc. But I haven't received any for months.

    Have you made any changes to your contact email recently and has this happened since you've had issues with your third party email address from your other thread?

      Hi  Steven_L, no I haven't changed my contact e-mail address for a long time on My Virgin Media, it's still set to my @virginmedia.com address.

  • However, just noticed there's a bug on the change contact details page. I've just tried to update my contact phone number to my mobile no. It appears to update initially but when I go back into the page the updated number has not been saved and the old number is displayed again.

      Check your junk/spam folders. The email address used is email@virginmedia.co.uk

      Ah right. Do you find that this is the same if you log into your online account from another device, or when you clear your cache/cookies from the device you're using? 

  • Shame about the marketing emails as I am probably missing some promotions from VM.

      I've never had promotions emailed to me but sometimes get texted offers and the new Blue Monday freebies via Priority Rewards (via the app) have been pretty good so far.

        Not just promotions, I'm not receiving any news on upcoming movies or sport.
