No free gift

Has anyone else not received their free gift? I had my virgin installed 12th July and the bundle I got included an Xbox one s. Left it a month then contacted virgin who said they have 60 days to dispatch then after that messaged them again and they said they have 90 days to dispatch it’s now been well over 100 days have contacted them multiple times with someone saying they will personally make sure it’s dispatched and I’ll get it within 15 days but nothing. Then message again and put a complaint in and they said someone tried to contact me about my complaint but I’ve had no missed calls or anything and they’ve resolved my complaint. No they havent! If I knew it was going to be like this I would have stayed with sky. When I signed up to them 8 years ago I got my free gift within a couple weeks! This has been 4 months it’s a joke. I will be going back to sky at end of contract

  • I now have this also, joined and told to wait a month to now be told I’m not eligible. One call says I am and it’s a stock issue and next says not eligible. Left hand does not know what the right hand is doing so going to escalate it to the Communications Ombudsman

    Yes this is common Virginmedia procedure. They will give you any answer they think of at the time to get rid of your call, in the hope that you will give up and stop bothering them.  You will unfortunately have to go to Citizens Advice get this resolved.

  • I have exactly the same problem now. Contacted virgin on at least three occasions. Keep being told the gift eligibility is marked on my account, there are supply issues and rest assured the free Xbox will be honoured.

    My account has now been active for 5 months and I'm losing hope! I just can't believe virgin can't get hold of am Xbox!

    How do I get this issue resolved?

        In regards to your post, I can see that this has been duplicated elsewhere on the Forums - please avoid doing this as it can result in multiple agents working on the same post and ultimately working on the same issue, which can cause further issue and confusion.

  • Hi sorry for adding to an old post but I’m not sure how to contact virgin about this topic. I was also expecting my free gift I received an email in June telling me my IPad would be issued by courier 55 days from my connection date.  I have had no further communication. I have emailed mailto:myrewards@tlcrewatrds.com but have had no response not even an automated email? How do I follow this up? Who do I need to contact?

        No it was direct through the Virgin website it was 1gb volt deal. It was part of the order when I ‘checked out’ .

        It was a typo in the post but good spot thank you. I’ve checked and I have emailed the correct address (myreward@tlcrewards.com). How long before they respond? I emailed on Monday. Should I have received an automatic response?
