No free gift

Has anyone else not received their free gift? I had my virgin installed 12th July and the bundle I got included an Xbox one s. Left it a month then contacted virgin who said they have 60 days to dispatch then after that messaged them again and they said they have 90 days to dispatch it’s now been well over 100 days have contacted them multiple times with someone saying they will personally make sure it’s dispatched and I’ll get it within 15 days but nothing. Then message again and put a complaint in and they said someone tried to contact me about my complaint but I’ve had no missed calls or anything and they’ve resolved my complaint. No they havent! If I knew it was going to be like this I would have stayed with sky. When I signed up to them 8 years ago I got my free gift within a couple weeks! This has been 4 months it’s a joke. I will be going back to sky at end of contract

  • I now have this also, joined and told to wait a month to now be told I’m not eligible. One call says I am and it’s a stock issue and next says not eligible. Left hand does not know what the right hand is doing so going to escalate it to the Communications Ombudsman

    Yes this is common Virginmedia procedure. They will give you any answer they think of at the time to get rid of your call, in the hope that you will give up and stop bothering them.  You will unfortunately have to go to Citizens Advice get this resolved.

  • I have exactly the same problem now. Contacted virgin on at least three occasions. Keep being told the gift eligibility is marked on my account, there are supply issues and rest assured the free Xbox will be honoured.

    My account has now been active for 5 months and I'm losing hope! I just can't believe virgin can't get hold of am Xbox!

    How do I get this issue resolved?
