Hello
I get to where it says link your virgin O2 account, put in the surname, account number and area code. Then email.
It then says we have found your virgin media account but the email isn't correct.
I've tried all my emails and my husbands but, I set up with the original email I'm putting in so I don't understand why it says it's a different.

When you register for a Virgin Media O2 ID, we’ll automatically link your accounts if your sign in email address matches. If you signed up for your Virgin Media O2 ID with an email address different to the one you used for My Virgin Media or My O2, we’ll ask for the details of your Virgin Media and O2 accounts and link them to your ID.
If you skipped this step during registration, follow these steps:
- Sign in with your Virgin Media O2 ID
- Go to Account settings, and then ID settings
- Tap Manage your products
- Navigate down and choose either Link your Virgin Media account or Link your O2 account
Follow the on-screen instructions. Let us know if this helps.

As a new VM Broadband customer does your BB actually need to be installed before this linking ID works?
I don’t have an O2 account and have only ever given VM one email address.- JayCee9Just browsing
To answer my own query, yes, your VM Broadband does need to be installed before the linking of the accounts can be done.
Got my M350 BB installed this morning.
This is at odds with what my online chat states when I signed up so if someone here can feed that back to the online agents that would be good.
