New Customer same issue as everyone else, can't link my virgin and O2

I'm a new customer and have tried all the suggestions to link my virgin and o2 App so I can login and activate tv apps but I'm having the same issue being told my emails don't match and I only joined yesterday and set everything up. I've tried so many times being sent the activation codes now I've been locked out for 24hrs.. wish I hadn't changed providers now, and the chat bott just takes you around in circles...
