New Contract not showing in account

My experience has been almost identical to Mince above and my frustrations are off the scale due to hours wasted and the feeling of hitting your head against a brick wall with Virgin.
Like others I accepted a renewal offer in the app that promised to match my existing package at a lower price. Having accepted I received an order summary laying out the contract and assumed this had gone through. A few days later an email asked me to ring and confirm some details at which point there was a complete denial of all previous offers. After several long phone calls I made a complaint and had a phone call and email response that resolved the issue and agreed that the contract was now operational. A further email from Virgin gave me cause to think that the agreed price had not gone through but I was assured on the  phone that all was well and sorted. In the meantime Virgin sent an upgraded 360 box.
unfortunately my father then died and so I hadn’t been religiously checking bills. Imagine my surprise when 2 months on, this week I received an email to say I was out of contract and my bill was £24 a month higher than agreed.
Once more I phoned but it is as if Virgin choose to have no record of any previous complaints or contact. How convenient?? Further phone calls and another complaint have led only to confirmation that I am out of contract despite reference numbers of orders, complaints etc all being available.
I don’t know whether to laugh or cry that others have found themselves in tge same position??
I honestly don’t know what else to do other than take my considerable bill elsewhere.

  • Hello KThomson1,

Welcome to the Community, and thanks for taking the time to post here on the forums. I’m sorry to hear of the loss of your father. Please accept our sincerest condolences.

I'd be happy to take a further look into this for you; however, I would need to confirm a few details via private message. Please look out for my message, and we can get started.
    Kind Regards,
