New Contact says a message was sent to ntlworld.com email

Unfortunately, I got rid of the ntlworld.com mail last year after having troubles with it and now use a virginmedia.com email as my only VM email.

Is there any way to change the email associated with my account? The only one mentioned in the online My Account details is virginmedia.com.
