Missold Maxit TV renewal - TNT Sports

My Maxit TV renewal was missold to me. I was very clearly informed that if I renewed I would do so "without losing anything", which clearly includes TNT Sports:

When presented with my renewal deal, I could also consider adding to my package. Although I did not choose to do this, it again showed what was included in the package, as I had no option to downgrade any included internet or TV packages. I could not choose any other TV package than Maxit TV, the logo for which includes TNT Sports. I also could not select or deselect Sky Sports or TNT Sports, which were indicated as already included with big green ticks:

The pre-contract documents did mention removing TNT Sports. The final contract, though, tells me TNT Sports has been removed. And to boot, it doesn't kick in for around a month, so that Virgin can charge me the out-of-contract price for the week after my current one expires.

I am considering alternative options, looking into the 14 day rule, and considering a complaint to Ofcom. Is there any other way I can resolve this?
