Mega TV and Netflix

Apologies. I posted this originally in the TV360 section in error. I would be grateful if the VM forum admin would delete the original post.

On 15 January (yesterday) we entered a new 24 month contract which included Mega TV as well as Broadband, Phone and  Volt benefits from an O2 SIM.

While we asked to delete TNTSports from our previous package we were surprised to receive emails from Netflix to inform us that our account via Virgin had been deleted.

The agent who negotiated our new contract could not have been more helpful and went out of his way to find the best deal which suited or needs, but at no time had we stated that the Netflix account should be removed. Apart from that I understood that all Mega TV packages included Standard Netflix ( with ads) at no cost.

Is this just an error that our Netflix has disappeared or is it now an add-on to Mega TV?

    Thank you for your post and welcome to the community. 

    To confirm, did you have Standard Netflix (with ads) on the previous contract or a higher tier one?

    Thanks for taking the time to reply. We previously had Netflix Standard without ads.
