Marketing Preferences says I’ve opted out when updating phone number

I have tried to update an out of date phone number in my Virgin Media app but when I’ve saved it it’s saying you have opted out of marketing preferences and will take 28 days to update. I can’t get it to say I’ve opted in. Please can someone check I’m opted in and my mobile number is correct I don’t want to miss anything thanks

    Dont know why youd want to be opted in , plenty of complaints on here of VM bothering customers several times a day. 

    Stay as you are if I were you.
