Losing Eurosport and no communication

I am very disappointed to find out from a friend that Eurosport will finish on the 28th February on my package. Why did I not get a communication from Virgin? What will Virgin do to compensate me as I am paying for something that I will not receive. I watch both World Superbikes and British Superbikes for well over a decade and now it will come to an end. Will Virgin upgrade for free to TNT sports for the remainder of my contract or give me a reduction. If they dont then at the end of this contract I will cancel after over 10 years.

Eurosport is closing down completely in the UK, regardless of whether you have Virgin, Sky, BT/EE, or any other service, the channel will no longer exist for UK viewers. The decision was made by the parent company Warner Bros Discovery to close Eurosport and move the content to TNT.

  • I agree the closing of eurosport is a disappointment , I hope superbikes and cycling get coverage on quest , since for TNT sports to be added, is currently £12 a month.

Looks like superbikes content is moving to TNT in the UK. Eurosport on Virgin is part of a bundle, & this can vary throughout your contract without a change in price, as channels can be added as well as removed over the course of a year.

Eurosport outside the UK & Ireland is already a subscription only service apart from Germany, & with the Warner content being added to Eurosport elsewhere it is more than likely costs will rise for our European neighbours as well.
