Logging onto account issues

Afternoon Virgin Media Team,

I've just tried to log into my account and noticed i haven't received any emails from Virgin Media since 28th July. Using my virgin media account password i'm getting the error message "your password was wasn't verified" so i've had to click 'verify another way' to get in. I see an email dated 28th Jul, that my virgin media O2 ID was been created and linked but i don't recall setting up.

Can anyone help? Whatever changes has occured means i'm not getting any emails and my password is not recognised.
