Just got this email
"Instead of using your current email address to sign in to your account, you’ll need use your Virgin Media Mail email address.
This will take effect automatically from 30/06/2025. You’ll still use your current password."
What if I don't have a virgin email? I have an old ntlworld address, do I use that?
This is just crazy. Not long ago, many users had to change their logins to a a non Virginmedia email address. This caused a lot of distress and confusion, but it was necessary as a security measure.
Now we are told that this security measure is to be abandoned. So security is no longer important?

With all due respect, the user experience is nightmarish. From being forced into V360 along with raising complaints and issues with the ombudsman on every contract renewal. And I have been doing it for 20+ years. My one hope is this email login is messed up sufficiently for my wife to lose access to everything and for her to see the light and move on.
If this does improve things, I will be happily surprised.

This is ridiculous. I recently had to map my other virginmedia.com emails to gmail accounts to login and now I can use the virginmedia.com addresses. I think I know my ntlworld address...

If you have an ntlworld mailbox you would revert back to using the ntlworld email address.
