Live Chat down?

I was trying to start a live chat, as I wanted to see if the renewal/uprade offer is the best one they can do before I decide if I cancel my account or not.

Every time I click live chat nothing happens, so far all Ive managed to do is talk to some retarded bot that asks the same 3 questions over and over but is no help.

    AIUI, based on past topics on here, the chat options are subject to availability and take second place to the phone lines. Try again later (or phone in, for the full VM customer service experience!)

      Thanks, I'll keep trying it and see what happens, as for phoning VM I'd rather stick pins in my eyeballs, its less painful, cheers.
