Linking O2 account

I've tried this multiple times and keep getting msg that my details don't match (d.o.b. and postcode).

Called O2 and the problem is:

Some months ago Virgin asked me to change my login email to a non Virgin one, which I did.

My O2 login is my Virgin email address - not my Virgin login address.

O2 are unable to change my login email and I cannot now access my O2 account to change it myself.

O2 told me to contact Virgin for them to sort.

I've tried solutions from community (register my email address etc) but no good.

HELP! please

    I have tried to link my old Virgin account with the new login (which is successfully set up) however the email address that the link is sent to for the old account no longer exists so I'm unable to receive the link to confirm it's me. What should I do?

    Please see the attached which I get when i try to access the My Virgin Media app. I follow the instructions but despite repeated efforts get nowhere.
