Linking accounts.

Out of the blue despite being a Virgin Media customer since 2011 Upon trying to log into my email as normal I was presented with the VM/O2 Log in screen without prior notification and no knowledge that this was about to happen. The email address requested was the username which was set up when the account was first opened and to which I no longer have access therefore the message that a link was sent to this address was of no use whatsoever.

I contacted the telephone number  0345 454 1111 to explain my issue and in the hope that some resolution might be forthcoming only to find out the folly of major companies outsourcing their customer call centres however I was given notification that a ticket would be raised {august 12th).

The ticket no given was P013156950 and that this would be resolved in 5 days still no solution.

Help me please.

    Thanks for posting and welcome to the community. Sorry to hear of the login issue. We can see the ticket is still open and IT are still working on it. It is out of their normal timescales which does mean it's more complex to fix, though they'll have it sorted asap. You'll be contacted by IT, when there is a fix/update.

      Still no resolution despite further contacts another job ticket and raising a complaint.

        To confirm you mentioned there is an IT ticket raised?

        If so this does mean the team are looking into this issue.

  • In the absence of no further contact from anyone I contacted live chat and  asked to change my registered e mail address which I no longer have access to receive any links, on advising of a new e mail I was sent two links neither of which have worked, I am seriously asking why I am still a customer.
