Once you are disconnected from VM, shortly after you should get a final bill from VM showing the balance on your account. If you are in credit, VM should refund you, though not necessarily very quickly! See below

  • Hi ccampbell 👋 welcome to the community forum! Thanks for posting.

You are billed in advance right up until the day of disconnection. Once you are disconnected, any pro-rata charges for services in advance which are no longer applicable are refunded.

You can find a helpful breakdown guide of your final bill here 👉 https://www.virginmedia.com/support/help/billing-and-payment/bill-explainer/my-final-bill-explainer

Just let us know if you have any other questions or concerns. Wishing you all the best! 🌞

Just wondering if I've paid 75 pound for the contract would anyone know how much I would get back for the remaining 12 days I'm owed?

        Hi ccampbell,

Thanks for coming back to us on this one.

We wouldn't be able to advise in advance as we won't know until the final bill is generated. As you've mentioned 1st April is your switch date, which is today, the bill should be available to view from around the 3rd/4th, as this is usually generated 3 days later.

        Many thanks,
