For weeks now, despite always ticking "keep me signed in", I am being logged out about every hour most days. It is really tiresome because when signed out I don't get notifications for posts and have to constantly check for new ones.I know from a previous thread that many other people are similarly affected so something should have been done by now - it is a serious flaw in the Community set-up.Please note, I've cleared cache/cookies several times and it makes no difference.I've also tried changing browsers (my preferred one is Firefox but I have also tried Chrome and Edge) and it makes no difference - the problem is the same.

If I use Firefox I also get signed out regularly and even during typing a reply, the stay logged does not work reliably and updates to posts can take 2 or 3 attempts to get the change to be displayed.Using Edge browser the logon is 100% reliable, the stay logged in holds for days and the random sign outs do not occur and big plus the menu layout is so much better.You are not getting any response because VM are very well aware of these repeatedly reported issues and have zero interest in expending any more time on forum fixes.

Following Client62's post I've switched to Edge and, so far, no sign outs.

It’s NOT fixed. I get signed out nearly every time I leave the community. Record is 10 time in one day. The board software is rubbish.

If you browse the above you will find that some of the original faults were fixed only to come back again and some faults have been present from the beginning and still persist.If your previous issue of no notifications has actually been fixed, I would suggest that someone behind the scenes of the forum pressed the metaphorical reset button for your forum login account. I doubt you deleting cookies or trying another browser would be the fix as was suggested on your other topic.

    Sorry Tudor, maybe I was premature in closing the thread. When I originally started this discussion my experience was the same as yours, but eventually there was a big improvement. But I still have to sign in once or twice a day.

  That sounds like a session timeout issue on the community platform. Try clearing cookies, disabling browser extensions, or switching browsers to see if it persists. If it keeps happening, it’s likely a site-side session bug—worth reporting to the community admins for a fix.

    Thank you ArioHill57. Speaking personally, I have already said earlier in the discussion that I've cleared cache/cookiesnd it makes no difference.
    I have also already said that I've tried Firefox, Chrome and Edge and it makes no difference.
    As for the "community admins", I said 17 days ago that "No member of the Forum Team has taken any interest in this issue.". And that remains the case.
    I was definitely wrong to mark the problem as Solved because today I'm suddenly back to being signed out every hour or so!

  I'm closing this thread as (for now at least) I'm managing to stay logged in for long periods.
