How long for refer a friend!!

Hi

I joined in DECEMBER 24, using a friends refer code, have spoken to Aklamio, everything has been done my end, logging into their portal I have a payment sat there under processing.

It is now June 25, SIX MONTHS! I know Virgin media are going to say its not us blah blah blah its our partner, well your partner is saying its not us its Virgin Media blah blah blah.

Is this standard policy for Virgin, just hope the customer goes away by dragging it?!?!?!?! Why do you make this so difficult, why don't you just stop offering any rewards, would be simpler!!!

    Because it works and gets the punters in. It worked on you and many others, so they'll carry on.

    We're sorry to hear you're having some concerns regarding the refer a friend credit.

    What have Aklamio advised please? Have they confirmed you are eligible for the credit? Have they advised why this hasn't been provided?

      Aklamio said the following, copy and pasted from an email received on the 23rd of March

      We have successfully created a Support Request for you and your friend (ID: 158998), which we will promptly forward to our partner, Virgin Media, for verification. Please note that Virgin Media typically requires up to 3 months to process and verify the request. While we understand the importance of timely resolution, we kindly ask for your patience during this verification period. Unfortunately, we have no control over the time it takes our partner to complete this process.

      I have other emails since the above email where they are saying they are waiting on Virgin. 

      If i log into the rewards portal, I have a pending £50 reward

      Thank you for that information. When did you last speak with Aklamio? What specifically did they advise?

    We have escalated your case to our partner on the 3.6.2025.
     
    We are now waiting for feedback. Furthermore, we will email you automatically once we have news from Virgin Media, no need to chase it.

    If you mean what you posted, about when did i last speak to Aklamio, i responded, see above, Aklamio emailed me saying they are waiting on Virgin, I copied and pasted their reply above...

    I replied back to your post above but it seems to have disappeared, if you mean your post asking when I last spoke to Aklamio, i got an email from them yesterday, I copied and pasted the email above...

      If they have escalated the matter through there contact methods we would advise reaching out to Aklamio to ask if they have had an update
