How do I escalate a complaint?

My complaints are being closed without my confirmation, I'm being lied to about deliveries, my requests to escalate to a senior manager as per the code of conduct are being ignored, as are my emails.

I have chat transcripts and screenshots of chats backing up all of the above but I wont bore you with the detail.

This has been raised and accepted by the Comms Ombudsman.

How do I escalate this beyond the so called customer Service team?

Thanks

Jez

Once it has been accepted by the Ombudsman, your complaint will be dealt with there. Any resolution is legally-binding on VM.

  • Sorry to hear of your problems Jez.

My experience is it doesn't get any better. Had intermittent internet for two and a half months now. Last week after a bit of an argument because I wouldn't just accept £10 compensation, the manager agreed to send an engineer on Saturday. The guy changed the hub saying it was faulty and asked me to check on my phone for wifi. Before I could turn my phone on, let alone put new router details in, he was on his way out the front door. He had already told me the engineer booked had a vm Xmas party to get ready for.

Contacted vm again this evening as issues have persisted. I already knew vm had closed my case without contacting me. I asked why and was told manager did try to call me but didn't get an answer. I hadn't had any missed calls, plus he could have messaged or emailed me.

Apparently one attempt to contact is a good enough reason to close the case.

Now the usual response there are outages in your area and are due to be fixed by 13th. They didn't state which month or year so are covered I guess.

  • Hi ionarhum,

Thanks for posting and welcome to our community 🙂

Sorry to hear you're complaint hasn't been resolved to your satisfaction. Just to confirm, has your complaint reached deadlock with us, and this is now with a third party adjudicator?

It's with an adjudicatior. VM will not escalate to a senior manager as detailed in the Code of conduct.

        Hey ionarhum,

Thanks for confirming this, once it has reached the adjudicator, we no longer can handle this complaint, this will be dealt with by them and once they have a resolution it will be provided back to us.
