Complaints ignored

I am due a credit of Ā£45.24 after VM finally resolved my original complaint after implementing the ombudsman ruling.   https://community.virginmedia.com/discussions/ManageAccountCable/removing-sky-sports-add-on/5639635/replies/5665532

This has dragged on since May!!!

I have sent umpteen emails but nothing has been done.

The latest complaint references.

Can the credit be applied.

If VM has failed to deliver a ruling from the ombudsman, you should go back to the ombudsman to get them to follow up with VM.

I have on numerous occasions.  Now all VM have to do is refund me for two months of overpayments.

and if you go back to the ombudsman ask'suggest that they should implement a further cost to VM of £150 for the delay

  • This is very typical disgusting behaviour by VM. Just ask around and see reviews on other sites. And spread the word....hopefully they will go bust.

I don't want VM to go bust.  I just want my overpayments refunded.

If your 3 most recent complaints have not been resolved, nor a direction from the ombudsman, you should start investigating other avenues to resolve the matter.

Why not contact Citizens Advice for suggestions on next steps? I am going from memory of past topics (so check out for yourself whether this is correct or not) but I believe that VM has to be signed up with an ADR service in order to operate as a telecoms provider and that a decision from the ombudsman is legally binding on VM.

I would have thought that you could now take the ombudsman decision through the small claims court process to get your overpayments refunded since the ombudsman has ruled in your favour.

You might possibly get some help and a resolution from a VM person on here but probably don't waste too much more time with VM and the ombudsman if that route isn't working. See if there is a simple legal route to get what you are owed using the ombudsman decision to help in that process.

        Hi Alisha_C

It is arrgee1991  that has the issue with not receiving the credits, and it's him that you should be sending the PM too.

Darthvadar has their own ongoing  issues with VM from a year ago <see here>  and is showing their displeasure by "spreading the word" of their feelings towards VM on a multitude of forum posts
