Free Toshiba TV or £145 bill credit help

Pretty much as the title says. I signed up on Saturday 9th august. 
I chose the Toshiba tv, but when I’ve received the pre contract info - my broadband and tv package is listed but no mention of the offer in the paperwork.

I’ve received the e billing email so I’ve signed up for the online account, and again can’t see any mention of the Toshiba tv anywhere.

this is pretty much the only reason I signed up to virgin media,I was going to sign up elsewhere so I want to make sure it is all ok before I fully proceed with installation 

Is anyone able to check my account please? Thanks

    VM won't recognise the offer until your broadband is installed and past the time you can cancel. 

    Then they will send you back to whoever signed you up.

    There are several threads here about "free stuff" not turning up.  I can't ever remember seeing any proper resolution being posted?  Most of them, as noted by jpeg1​ , are told to chase up the company that is promoting the offers.

    It would be good if someone who has received a free gift to post a reply and let us know?

  • Hi Leilacrowder thanks for posting although we're sorry to hear of the concerns you've raised here.

    It can take up to 42 days for the gift to be with you following installation, so it is a while until you may receive this yet.

    Additionally, did you place the order through us or via a third party?

      Hi,

      sorry I didn’t reply earlier, for some reason I couldnt log into my account.

      i had an email on 11/08 saying it would be 55 days, and exertis would be emailing to arrange delivery so keep an eye out..i believe 55 days is tomorrow (5th October) I’ve had no further contact regarding this.

      placed directly through virgin media’s website, no 3rd party. Reading other posts of a similar query don’t fill me with hope that I’d receive anytime soon… spam etc has been checked. I did try calling the number in the email on Friday to see if it would get me anywhere, but it just rang out with no answer.

        Thank you for getting back to us. Generally, if you are receiving a Virgin Media hardware gift or wine, it can take an additional 14 days for your gift to get to you once it has been dispatched. In this case, we would advise waiting until 7th October for a dispatch email. If you do not receive this by then, please get back in contact here and we can take further steps 😊

    Do you satisfy all the criteria for the promotion?

    Are you a new customer and on VM Full Fibre or VM Fibre?  Looking at the wording in the offer, it isn't available in Full Fibre areas.

    Did you sign up online via the VM website to one of the following included deals ?
