First bill with a higher price than expected

I was recently called by Virgin media with a ‘better deal’. The deal was cheaper than my original deal and also included a stream box so I agreed. I repeatedly asked on the call whether there will be any other charges too, I was told that there wasn’t.

I was expecting my bill to come to £22 but has instead come to £64. The £22 is also in my contract, there is no mention of a £64 fee. the My Virgin Media app also says something about a £60 monthly payment. 

Is anyone able to help on the matter?

    In order to look into this for you, we'll send you a private message on here. Look out for the envelope in the top right-hand corner.

    If you're on a portable device with a smaller screen, click on the icon in the top right-hand corner and select "messages" from the additional menu options.
