feeling i was being tricked into a different renewal contract

just been having a online chat and was very upfront at the start saying "i wanted to have the same package as what i have before" 

person come back to say i have a nice deal with discounts and did not tell me this did not include Netflix premium and UHD 

i was about to accept it them found this out and they then told me about netflix premium not being part of the deal and said i understand and will look at getting the premium paid after but can have UDH for about £6 more 

got given another deal and its only when i looked at my previous contract realised that has also deleted TNT sport even though i asked at the start to have the same cover 

was told "its because i was trying to get the best deal" was really annoyed by this as feel i was not told upfront what i would be losing (i watch TNT all the time) he then said sorry and come back with another deal 

again looked at it and realised he has not taken UHD off again when i asked why he said thats not part of the deal and again was not upfront with me 

just so annoyed about how i have been treated i should have been offered the the same pakage to what i had in the past and if anything was different should have been clearly told

    Take a read down this forum and see the other posts with the similar complaints.

    I hope you have managed to avoid these devious sales tactics, unlike some customers who have mistakenly trusted sales promises and only found later that they have been signed up to something different.

      no have not accepted any thing and have lodged a complaint about being missold

    Welcome to the Community and thanks for taking the time to post here on the forums. I’m sorry to hear of the issues that you’re having with your contract renewal offer. 

    Have you been able to speak to the team to get an offer that matches the package that you wish to have with Netflix Premium and UHD content included or are you wanting further assistance to have this looked into?

      I made a complaint about how this was handled 

      not sure if I want to contact someone again to be told I have to I pay a lot more for less cover and tried to be told that’s a great deal 

      it’s a shame as been with Virgin for nearly 20 years
