DIsney+ Bundled with contract renewal

Ive only got broadband and i only want broadband nothing else.  I got an email offer to renew my broadband contract as it was ending in a few months so I renewed my contract and also chose the option to upgrade to 350mb from my current 250mb for just a few pound more.

I get an email from virgin media confirming my contract details and cost but im worried because i do not want Disney+ and at not point was i told i would be getting disney plus as part of renewing my broadband contract.  I would like it confirming that i am not going to be paying for disney+ and would like to know why its been added to my renewal contract without my permission.

please help, if this can be removed from my contract and be confirmed i will not be paying for this I will remain a happy virgin customer again.

kind regards

Mark

Thanks for reaching out to us kaywaywong, can you please confirm if this is a subscription that has been added to your account?

In some cases, this is simply a case of offering the customer an opportunity to add this service to your Virgin Media bill, with the itemising detailing a potential interest in the 3rd party subscription service.

Alternatively it maybe a case that you are issued with the entry tier free of charge and then only issued a charge if this is upgraded to a chargeable tier.

      Thanks,
