Didn’t receive Customer account number or area reference number

Hi, moving house and ordered new wifi. After i was wanting to make an account to keep track of my bills when i eventually get it all installed, but i can’t make an account without the account and area reference number.  i know i am not the only one thats had this but yes i received the contract which has the space for the account and area reference numbers but they are blank. can someone help me please get these? thanks

    The account number is usually changed so that it matches your previous account number, but the last number is increased by one.  For example if your old account number was say 12312345 then the new one would be 12312346

     If you are moving to the same locality then the area code will remain the same.

    Welcome to the community forum! Thanks for posting. 

    Sorry to hear these concerns about accessing My VM 👉 virg.in/myVM ahead of the services being installed at your new address. Your My VM login can only be linked to one services account at a time, so you can't view the new account via My VM until it's all installed and activated. We can then complete a transfer of your details over to the new account where you will be able to view that billing information. 

    Sadly, we can't send over account information via PM either, but this will be provided on the first generated bill from your new account once it's activated and you are installed. 

    At that stage, if you are still having issues with My VM (for example if you can still see the old account information, and need us to get it transferred over) just add another update to this thread and we can get this sorted for you.
