is there a way for me to find out when my contract expires without phoning anyone?? ive checked in my account and it says they dont have a digital copy , even though it did before i moved house... i was told by an agent here that it expires in March but need an exact date so i can switch..

Also, whats the easiest and quickest way to end my contract.. im not after any deals i just need to change.

  • Hi SotonSteve,

Thanks for taking the time to contact us via the Community. It's lovely having you on board with us in the Forums. ⭐

We're sorry to hear you're thinking of leaving us. You can view a copy of your contract via My VM here. Select My Account > then Check your contract details. You’ll find your end date here. You can also view the dates that your discounts expire by looking at your monthly bill. The date these expire will likely tie in to your contract end date.

In terms of cancelling, there are a few ways you can do this:

    • 1️⃣ You can use the new One Touch Switch service. You sign up with the new provider, ensuring you select the option for One Touch Switch and they'll take care of the cancellation for you. You can find out more information on this here.
    • 2️⃣ You can speak to the team on 0345 454 1111 and selecting options 1, 4 then 4 again. The teams sometimes experience high calls but are working as quick as they can to reach you.
    • 3️⃣You can WhatsApp the team on 07803089684. Replies aren't instant and can take a few hours however it does allow you to go about your day whilst waiting for a reply.
    • 4️⃣ You can write a letter stating that you wish to cancel your services. You will need to include a few details including Your account number, name and full address and contact details for you. Send this to Virgin Media, Sunderland, SR43 4AA.

Let us know if you have any further queries or questions.

    Thanks,

hi i signed to another provider lasnight using the one switch service to all be done on march 7th.. and today received two emails from you one min apart..with two different switching reference numbers... one with no date mentioning a disconnection fee of £90 something  and the other which mentions march 7 and a charge of around £2....   is there anyway you can check for me which one of these is correct?

I suspect the £90 one is if you were to leave before your 18 month contract was finished.  As you are leaving on 7th March, you should not need to pay a termination fee?
