Complaint
I had to cancel my contract early as my landlord sold my house and myself and my children are currently sofa surfing. The operator on the other end of the phone did not understand this and kept telling me to take it with me to new house. She eventually gave up and told me my closing bill would be just under £400. I explained I can’t pay in one hour so she transferred me to set up a payment plan… cut me off. I left it for a bit and called back. The security question was what date is my bill due. My bill was/is immediately due states this in the bill. Failed security so was hung up on. Called again a few days later. Same question asked so once again with the bill in front of me I told her what it says. She told me it’s wrong. I said please look at my bill it goes not give a bill due by date it just says immediately due. She agreed with me and told me to call back In a few days and just pick a date any date. I haven’t called back yet cuz let’s face it the phone system is awful. You choose an option it cuts you off and sends a text. You choose another option it cuts you off and sends a text. The only way I could get through is by not choosing any options at all and eventually you get put in a long queue and the phone is answered in actually noisy call center by some one with a very strong accent and a delay in the phone so you just keep saying g hello thinking the other person is ignoring you. I’ve never had such awful customer service from a company in my life! I still haven’t managed to set up a monthly payment plan. I will never use Virgin again! I would like someone to answer me from Virgin customer services. I want this as an official complaint
