Cannot link O2 account

Big problem since the merger. I'm trying to link my account but the email I use is different to the registered account email. When I try to link via the registered email, it's impossible because it sends an email to the VM registered email address, which I can't access because my accounts not linked!!!

Does anybody have any idea how to get round this? Any advice would be gratefully received
