Can’t link account to Virgin Media O2 ID

I’m a new customer to virgin media and now have an active service, but im unable to link my broadband account to my Virgin Media O2 ID as after inputting the account number/area reference, it says the account has a different email to the one used for the ID (it doesn’t - they’re the same), and will not accept the correct email.

There seems to be quite a few posts regarding this on the forum, are any staff here able to link my accounts for me?

      Hi I am also having the same problem, I cannot seem to link my accounts even though I have only used one email. Let me know how to fix please :D

      Been on chat with someone for over 3hrs and still haven't solved this issue, it's a joke, I'm still waiting

  • Has anyone got this resolved yet ? It’s been going on for over a week now . 
    I am also having this issue for the last 8 days 

  • Good luck with getting this issue solved. I've been on chat over 4hrs with someone called Alex and he has just informed me it's an I.T. ISSUE and will pass it on ... all i want to do is link my virgin and o2 like 80% of the customers... absolutely useless so another day not being able to login and activate some of my channels.

  • This is day 2 on this community and day 4 since installing internet, trying to fix this. IT team keep saying wait 24 hours and don’t seem to help much.

     

    I want these accounts linked so I have access to them but seemingly I’m wasting my time.
