Bills - covers what period?
Does the bill cover the future or the past i.e. I get a bill on 15th November, is that for 15 Oct to 15 Nov or 15 Nov to 15 Dec?

This should be shown on the top of the PDF or online bill.. as per the example below..

As japitts has advised, this information can be found at the top of your bill. We do also bill a month in advance.
