Billing Issue – Incorrect Charges After Upgrade to 1G Speed

I recently accepted an offer to upgrade to 1G broadband speed for £33 per month. However, when I received my first bill, I was charged £72 for the package, and my current bill is showing £108. This is not the pricing I agreed to, and I would appreciate it if someone could look into this issue. Thank you!

    Yet another report of a new contract not being what was offered and agreed. 

    Why do VM keep doing this? 

  • It is a pretty good price for Gig1 but it wasn't really what you were after to begin with was it? It reads to me like an opportunistic sale on impulse terms. Do you really need Gig1 download speeds in daily life? If not you are throwing extra cash at VM for no real reason. I'd use your 14 day cooling off period if I were you and revert to the original engineer plan.

      Thanks for the suggestion. I probably don’t need 1G download speed, but I’d really like better upload speed if the price is fair.
