Another person waiting for a phone number.

I transferred from Sky to VM. Broadband and phone via OTS and I asked for the phone number to be transferred. Sky disconnected me on the 16th of April but VM were unable to connect me until the 23rd.

Thirteen days after I left Sky and six after joining VM my old number is still not transferred. On the Sky help forum they reckon Sky would have passed the number over right away.

When I joined VM ten years go they failed to port my number .

    With the advent of VoIP suppliers you should be moving your phone number to a VoIP supplier.  That way you can change ISP’s without the hassle of transferring your number.

  • Now fifteen days since Sky closed my account and no sign of the phone number transfer.
