Account Cancellation

Hi, I recently cancelled my virgin media services on 9 of October. Should I receive a confirmation email because I haven't had one yet. I have the transcript of the conversation because I used online chat. Also I see this on my e-billing that it say that I left virgin media. But like I say no email, is this normal?
