2024.04 price increase - billing ambiguity

Can a VM staff member please clarify in what month exactly the 8.8% (4.9% RPI+3.9%) increase is charged, as the info being given out is unclear and ambiguous [see attached pics]. 

• My Virgin online, says: 'from 2024-04-14' 

• VM letter rec'd in post today (01.Mar), it says: 'from your April bill'. 

Given my April bill creation date is 08.April, which bill will my price show the increase on, given the difference in these two dates being given to me: the 08.April bill, or the next bill on 08.May?

    Yes, I understand this now... I just checked and my bill will be: 

    Billing Period: 14 Apr - 13 May

    Bill Date: 08 Apr

    DD Date: 24 Apr

    We are so sorry for any confusion regarding your upcoming price rise, to clarify the date the price rise will start from is the one listed in your email. When we say this will start from your April bill, we mean you will begin to see the charge within your April bill.

      Yes, I understand this now... I just checked and my bill will be: 

      Billing Period: 14 Apr - 13 May

      Bill Date: 08 Apr

      DD Date: 24 Apr
